What to Expect

Knowing how much time and energy goes into planning a special occasion, I strive to make hiring a live pianist as stress-free as possible. 

 

Consultation 

Choose in-person, over the phone, or email communication. You can request specific songs that are meaningful to you or simply share your theme or favorite genres and I will take it from there to create a setlist that complements your vision. If we are scheduling more than a month out, I will follow up via your preferred contact method 1-2 weeks prior to confirm details and discuss any changes or additions. Consultations are always free, so don't hesitate to reach out!

Contract and Deposit

When you are ready to move forward, I will send a performance agreement for you to review and sign.  A $100 deposit is required within a week of signing to hold your date, with the balance due before the first note is played on the day of the event. (A few days prior is recommended.)

Set-Up at the Venue
Punctuality is a top priority for me. I will arrive well in advance and liaise with your venue coordinator to ensure I set up in the right place, and to do a sound check. If your event is outdoors, or if your venue does not have an instrument  I can bring a digital piano and speakers. (I requires a flat surface with protection from the elements.) For wedding ceremonies, I will also communicate with your officiant or day-of coordinator to make sure the timing of processional pieces is impeccable and creates the magical moment you envisioned.
